I have been working at Salsify full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Salsify's company culture is really incredible and gives me something to look forward to on my way into work. It serves a constantly evolving industry and does a great job at constantly iterating to meet changing eCommerce needs of brands.

    Cons

401 match would be nice.... honestly not much other than that.

    Advice to Management

Lots of strong leadership and different style, could make for a great opportunity to pull different traits from each other to better hone your management skills.

I have been working at Salsify full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Fast-paced product-driven company working with some of the best brands in the world - it's fun to walk through a store aisle and be able to name all the Salsify customers. We really have struck a chord in the market. Our competitors are scared, but that's not what drives us. - If you're looking to break into SaaS sales, Salsify's BDR Program is one of the best. - Strong track record of promotions is a testament to...

    Cons

    - As we're well aware, Salsify's growing really fast which means it's becoming harder to welcome and incorporate new employees into the company. Internal processes, resources, knowledge, and even Slack etiquette etc. can get lost in the noise and cause unnecessary setbacks. - Sometimes I'll hear various random acronyms and I have no idea what they mean. - Sometimes we run out of flavors on the Coca-Cola Freestyle.

    Advice to Management

Keep sending us emails, keep sharing news at All Hands, keep showing up and doing the little things that remind us why we're here.

I have been working at Salsify full-time for more than a year

    Pros

My experience at Salsify so far has been great. Everyone who works here seems happy and engaged, which makes my job more enjoyable. There is a lot of cross-functional work driven by leadership, which brings better results and faster growth for the company. This is one of the most collaborative environments I've worked in-it's great to have everyone understand that no matter what department you're in, we are all working...

    Cons

The usual start up pains...constant change, everyone works at an extremely fast pace and it can be difficult to keep up/manage workload. We're also hiring at such a fast pace and are spread out on 3 floors now in our new office that it makes it more difficult to get to know new employees. Employee on-boarding I'd consider to be a work in progress--it has improved a lot in the last year but people outside the sales...

Keep investing in your employees and staying involved. It's great to hear from the founders regularly through email updates, our weekly all-hands meetings or other avenues.

I have been working at Salsify full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Tremendous opportunity for learning and growth - Working alongside smart, motivated people who are always willing to help out - Legitimately one of the coolest offices in Boston with an amazing view (it's easy to take this for granted) - Healthy mix of startup feel and stable company - At its core, this business is poised for massive success - Strongest leadership team I've ever seen - Structured paths to career...

    Cons

As with any high-growth company, there will be growing pains: - More processes means more hoops to jump through to get stuff done which can be very frustrating. - Too much design by committee. Too many cooks in the kitchen. Whatever cliche you want to apply, it's getting harder and harder to just try stuff without over-engineering every inch of a project and involving every single person who would possibly be impacted...

    Advice to Management

Management is doing an incredible job building a successful, sustainable company. I think in order for it to thrive, they need to continue to focus on empowering those that aren't at the exec level. While exec involvement is great, I don't think they always realize the impact their words have on projects and situations. Luckily this seems to have gotten better over the past year, but I do see it creep up from time to...

    I worked at Salsify full-time

    Pros

    - Great leadership from Executive team - Comp & benefits package is strong - Be ready to work hard

    Cons

    - Transition from BDR to AE has been an apparent gap in recent years (its a start up with a ton of moving processes and some undefined etc.). However, it looks like management has recently brought in a new BDR manager who is dedicated to helping over-achieving BDRs get promoted and grow with the company.
