RecommendsPositive OutlookI worked at Samson full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Small busy support office focused on patient satisfaction. Employees appreciated with many all office social events, good benefits and work/family balance. C level managers have open doors.
Cons
Small busy office that supports 25+ dental practices can get overwhelming. You have to be flexible and organized to thrive in fast moving environment.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Samson full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
I loved my job. I had a great team. I thought my team was making a difference in the company. There was comradery amongst most of the departments.
Cons
Upper management: They have no clue what they are doing. They were easy to cut ties with all employees who were loyal to the company. Lied about not letting more people go after they completely removed the old upper management team. This place and it's upper management (if you can call them that) have no soul. Avoid this place!

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Samson full-time for more than a year
Pros
Casual Dress and Flexible Schedule
Cons
"Let's try this for a month" attitude led to many changes with little communication and many layoffs. Layoffs in key positions left remaing employees with no idea of how to handle day to day operations. No recognition of good work from upper management. Benefits are expensive and provide minimal coverage. New PTO structure means no pay for any FMLA leave. Renamed company in 2020 to Tiger Bright Dental.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Samson full-time for more than a year
Pros
Casual, can listen to music and flexible hours
Cons
Too many to list. If you’re not white then there is no growth or raises for you. The company is very “click-y” and if you’re not friends with the people of importance you’re a goner. They talk about you, they argue with you and they belittle you.

Flexible schedule, great home/work balance, great pay
Cons
No room for growth, qualified employees are overlooked because of favoritism, hardly any employees have actual dental knowledge, managers are rude and unprofessional

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo opinion of CEOI have been working at Samson
Pros
Casual dress, location, nice people.
Cons
Negative, unstable working environment. They say it is a partnership but leadership provides zero communication. There is no organization. Decisions are made on the fly. Nothing is proactive, everything is reactive. They don’t listen to feedback from individuals that have experience and knowledge in their areas. Every department is short staffed and lacks leaders that know processes because most have been let go or left on their own out of frustration. Since the new CEO took over in October, 25% of home office that I can think of have been let go or quit. I’m certain numbers are similar if not worse in the field. They don’t care about moral and are doing nothing to change the culture. Do not accept a job here. You will probably get let go, be given an ultimatum, or want to quit.
