      Pros

      There are some really good people people and bright minds. Very good with flexibility as it comes to personal appointments. Software is very simple to use

      Cons

      Nepotism and clicky. Untrustworthy. Half the company is related to or a friend of a relative of ownership. It’s like a LinkedIn post of things to avoid: You are told to wear many hats, then told you are not growing because you haven’t become specialized. You are told you are like family, yet management is anything but honest.

      Pros

      My previous employer was one of the largest privately held companies, and at that company you were just a number. When I made the switch to this company, from day one I felt at home. Leadership actually respects your opinion and often engages employees. My work life balance has never been better. The culture is very team based, everyone is willing to help you and make sure you accomplish your goals. Leadership meets with each employee for 1 on 1's to make sure you don't need anything to be successful, but also to talk about your career goals and wants to help you achieve them. This is a company that cares about their employees and rewards hard work.

      Cons

      Working at Sentact you will be challenged. If you want to coast at a job for 40 hours a week, this isn't the job for you.

      Challenge yourself against the clock.

      Cons

      Development tickets have Time to complete placed on them instead of points and called Agile Development in this twisted version. The time to complete is selected by Contracted development, which will places around 10 to 30 minutes for bug fixes and 45 minutes to 2 hours for feature developments and on this pace, be ready to justify around 7 hours of work daily for an 8 hours day. On average a developer is expected to resolve 5 to 6 tickets daily by their second month on a below average salary. Never been happier to let go from a workplace before. No growth opportunity. Management believes in minimal off days.
