      Growing organization with lots of opportunity!

      Pros

      Sentry Control Systems has always been a great company to work for. There has never been a single year that it has not grown. There are lots of growing pains but I would rather have this problem than worry about what I was going to be doing tomorrow. With the growth comes lots of opportunities for relocation and advancement. If you like to move up quickly and you don't ind hustling, this is the right place for you. Great benefits, company cars, flexible hours, no hard start times and lots of autonomy to complete your work. They treat you like adults and expect you to take care of your responsibilities and manage yourself.

      Cons

      The decentralized management and flexible approach requires more responsibility and initiative from the individual employees. Not everyone knows how to behave in this environment. This is a for profit company which means that there is a balance between adding new resources and maintaining profitability. This applies lots of pressure on existing staff.

      Pros

      I have been at Sentry for almost three years and I wish I would have started working there sooner. If you like a dynamic work environment with many opportunities and like learning this is the place for you. I have learned so much in the almost three years that I have been there that I feel like is paid training everyday. This has opened other opportunities but non have offered what I have at Sentry, great coworkers that love their work and are proud of it. I absolutely enjoy my job.

      Cons

      Not for those lacking drive, enthusiasm and the willingness to learn. If you can call that a con?

      Awesome Place to Work

      Pros

      I've been with Sentry for the past 3yrs and it continues to be a great place to work. It is a dynamic environment presenting new challenges with every new customer. If your looking for a boring job, this is not the place for you. If you enjoy growth and being a contributor, this is the place to be. By no means is this Disneyland, but I have worked with large organization where your job is literally in a box with tons of red tape, and tiny organization leaving you strapped for resources. Sentry is well balanced, growing and fosters talented individuals.

      Cons

      Company is growing and with that comes growing pains. This can present challenges to individuals that cannot adapt to change well.
