Pros

it's sad to say, but there are no pros

Cons

the lowest of low-budget operations poor work environment hostile people no business process discipline or accountability bring your own PC or use an ancient down-rev model exceptionally poor management with zero ability to lead and mentor no effort to maintain, engage, retain employees execs hired their children who have no professional work experience adding to the "free-for-all" they are trying to salvage and sell an aged product in a very competitive and saturated market their chatbot is a me-too offering that's poorly implemented without any focus on the customer experience and hence is not selling

Pros

Good team members. Good pay. Largely self-directed work.

Cons

Lack of communication. Not easy to get assistance. Poor business processes. Lots of emphasis on billable hours and not much else - led to shoddy work that often needed overhaul or created serious technical debt. Management seemed to not see the abundance of business process problems. I felt management lacked awareness of realistic time requirements outside of billable work, and wasn't willing to hear anything different.
