Pros

Fully covered health, vision, and dental insurance if you are single, co-workers are nice.

Cons

Pay is low, Taiwanese owned company so all managers are Taiwanese. Close to 0% chance to advance if you are not Taiwanese. Company does not want to pay employees and find ways to cut benefit from employees. For year-end bonus is completely up to headquarter in TW, and they pay bonus on Feb or March each year not Christmas. Bonus is about one month pay or half month pay. They also put cameras allover the place to see what employees are doing. Also, when they interview you, they will promise to raise your salary to what you expected after probation, but after probation review, they will give you lots of excuses to not raise your pay, like you are not working hard enough, you still have room to grow, I don't see your full potential, you are not leading the part-timers to work. And they don't raise your pay every year, even you ask for a raise, they just don't raise your pay.

Pros

Relaxed environment. People were cool. A decent job if it's your first job or you're looking for some extra cash while at school.

Cons

Tiring, tedious, and monotonous. It's obvious people working there hate their jobs and it's easy to see why. This was my first "warehouse" job and when I started I was lead on to believe I'd actually be building computers by the job description. So that turned to be true and not true. Yes, I was "building" computers. By "building" I mean inserting the CPU and RAM into each computer...for HUNDREDS of units. My god it was so mind numbing. I thought I'd make it a little easier by putting in some headphones and listening to music. Nope. Got yelled at. The job description had a laundry list of technical requirements for the job and that was all BS. I kid you not, you can train a MONKEY to do the EXACT same thing I was doing. You can take a person who has never seen a computer in their life and they'll be up and running within 30 minutes. The job was a nice change of pace for the first few days considering my other job was an office job. However, that luxury quickly wore off. The job is minimum wage (i'm not complaining, considering how skill less the job itself is) and I already had another job that was far more interesting and paid more. I only lasted a month and I left. I dreaded coming in everyday. Never again.
