Pride in ensuring that the voice of the people are heard. To date, 100% Election success globally since 2001. A great creative and collaborative work environment, where passion and pride in your work is acknowledged.

    Cons

Some of the company policies and procedure can be a challenge. Tribal knowledge is apparent, and there is no repository for SOPs or DOPs.

I have been working at Smartmatic full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There are always new challenges, most of the the result of poor management practices, but nevertheless, yo do get to test yourself. This also opens the possibility to raise within the company really fast, as you usually have to solve the problems it gets into.

    Cons

Too messy, unorganised and always improvising. There is no planning and resources are exploited to the max. I guess that is how profit is made. When sales don't go as planned, your bonus suffers, so there are years when it will be irrelevant if you busted your behind, you will not be financially recognised for it.

    Advice to Management

Get it together, you have been very lucky to get all this talent together, but people don't remain junior forever. Eventually we want to have a real career, traveling and solving emergencies are not attractive after a certain stage.

Don't let the company became the typical bureaucratic mega consortium. Keep listening the lower levels and always, always put the human resource first.
