    Pros

Company is a government contractor and there is job security. Deadlines are followed but not pressured upon you. The team environment is a plus.

    Cons

Creativity is limited because lot of instructional design works are simple copies from previous revisions.

    Advice to Management

Allow your ADL specialist to use their creativity.

    Pros

A great job for new graduates. Before I got hired, they were very upfront about some aspects of the position, which I appreciated and was able to accept. Once I was hired, we never had to see management cause they were never around. Also, a decent benefits package.

    Cons

The position was extremely misleading and most people hate it there. Snap gives off every impression that they don't care at all about their employees. Also, terrible management structure, Also, zero employee incentives for producing quality work, and horrible strategy for selecting supervisors.

    Advice to Management

Start caring about employees. Provide a reason for people to stay with you and be happy to do so. Figure out a better method for selecting supervisors and actually check up on them.

I worked at Snap full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Quite a few good talented employees

    Cons

    - Very bad working conditions, especially from the President/CEO. He is a classic bully!
    - You loose your vacation balance when you resign, they don't let you cash it.
    - CEO is control freak, no one has any real authority
    - Worse than rigid timings, employees can start at 8:30, 9:00, or 9:30, if one arrives at 8:45, s/he is considered either late for the 8:30 start of on time for the 9:00 AM start. No one can leave before the CEO leaves around 5:40. Even if the employees comes to work at 7:00 AM, he could not leave at 5:00 without getting dirty looks by the CEO.

    Advice to Management

CEO needs to be taught what bullying is and ensure he never does that

    Pros

They appear to have a great online portal. It is a sham. They call you daily to remind you of your assignments. Then they will not return a call when you want to know where your money is.

    Cons

The quality control department will not approve the pictures submitted and come back with a bogus excuse each day why they will not approve your work. The pay is far too low for the amount of time and effort people end up putting into each assignment.

    Advice to Management

Pay your workers. for their work. Increase the wages as well. They payments are too low for the amount of time and effort involved.

I worked at Snap full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good projects with the army but limited opportunities to grow and expand within the company.

    Cons

This company is not ideal for honest hardworking people looking to grow. The owner has no trouble changing the terms and conditions of employment and partnerships at anytime without discussion or notice. Buyer better be aware and look before you leap.

    Advice to Management

Integrity and honesty go a long way in business, be true to yourself and others. Promise only what you can deliver. By law companies are supposed to pay part of the H1B fee. Go beyond a sweat shop mentality.
