Thank you for providing a review about your time at Snowfall. Your feedback is important to us and helps us to improve. Trust is very important to thrive in our culture. We don’t want to be a company where people need constant supervision. We understand that this might cause frustration and may not be for everyone. However, those who enjoy being proactive, self-managing and taking initiative to improve our product and help build our business will find Snowfall a fertile ground for their ideas.

Pros

Some competent, motivated coworkers. Not that their competence and motivation can accomplish anything in this train wreck - they're just commiseration buddies.

Cons

Never in my career have I seen a company like this. It's the most inept company I've ever seen, and it's not close. Leadership is completely clueless on business strategy, product strategy, gtm, how to build a team and a culture, basically everything that matters. They're also completely impervious to good advice. There are world class employees who are just whiling away their time because management can't lead and will not let people be self-led. Of course, people leave. Unsurprisingly, their products are either perennially in development or so badly conceived and marketed that they struggle to find any customers. Staggeringly, investors are propping it up but it can't possibly last unless there's a radical change, starting with leadership.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I appreciate your honest review and regret that your experience with us was not as positive as we strive for it to be. I am happy to hear that you valued the people you worked with. We are incredibly proud of the talented individuals who work at Snowfall. We acknowledge that there have been recent challenges that needed to be effectively addressed, and we actively worked to fix them quickly. Our leadership team is committed to making necessary improvements in our business and product strategies, as well as building a cohesive and supportive culture. We are finishing a transformation of senior leadership ways of working to specifically fix areas identified by our employees as being problematic. Since implementing these changes, we have had quicker and more decisive decisions, and teams have enjoyed clearer direction. As a start-up transforming a global market, we are always looking for ways to improve as we continue to grow. Insight, good and bad, is an important step to preventing and rectifying obstacles to reaching our North Star, so we appreciate your review. Thank you again for your review, and I wish you the best in your future endeavours.

SDLC was a joke A mess of undocumented legacy code that may or may not work Knowledge siloed with vets more interested in maintaining control than bettering the product
