Pros
Field Staff make it a good place to work and do the best they can with the limited resources provided
Cons
Where to begin... COVID practices are inconsistent High turnover of school level and home office staff Overall quality of schools has deteriorated in the past 2-3 years Lack of communication esp. from senior leadership with basic questions left unanswered and contradictions left unresolved Big Ideas with no plan or structure for implementation and follow-up Heavily reliant on systems and reporting as opposed to consideration and pulse of the local communities where schools are.

RecommendsI have been working at Spring Education Group full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
During these challenging times, the senior leaders at Spring Education Group are working hard to ensure our operations teams are fully supported by providing detailed health and safety guidelines to keep our community safe.
Cons
It is not always easy to see the big picture depending on where you sit in the organization. More pro-active communication about upcoming changes would be helpful for front line team members to feel informed.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at Spring Education Group full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
None comes to mind right now.
Cons
As soon as the transition period of Spring acquiring my school was over, Spring slashed our benefits. These are unprecedented times (corona virus) but we are already struggling and Spring decided to stop matching our 401k, slash our benefits (to the point of it being a pay cut), cut all bonuses (which we are told are part of our income), and not give any raises. Extremely disheartening during a time that we are working longer and harder to serve our community as well as putting our health at risk. I hope to see a change once corona is “over” but they have showed a very ugly side while times are tough.

January 15, 2021 –
We appreciate your comments and feedback. Spring Education is committed to doing our best for our employees. Like so many other organizations, we had to make tough decisions, due to Covid. The discontinuation of the 401K match and bonuses was temporary to get us through these trying times; all has been reinstated. We are looking forward to the hopefulness of a strong future for Spring.
Pros
Board variety of schools to choice from
Cons
It is treated like a business and not a school environment.
