Hybrid work schedule, annual end of year bonuses (small but something), and good co-workers.

Cons

Strategic Analysis leadership care more about the company's reputation and how it looks from the outside than their employees who don't 100% drink their company's cool aid. They terminate employees because they voice their concerns respectfully and claim it's causing toxic workplace environments when in actuality it's because they only want people working there who drink their cool aid or if they do have concerns keep their heads down and say nothing. This is retaliation and Strategic Analysis has a history of retailating against their employees who don't drink the cool aid that's forced upon them. Leadership has a history of demonstrated stereotyping and gaslighting. There are stories upon stories of former employees who left the company because of this as part of their reasoning. It's also a near impossible struggle to advocate for competitive market rate salary based on the job you're hired to do after being in that position and realizing it's way more work than what was advertised (they tend to bid their contracts low and it's at the cost of some their employees' compensation, usually the highest performing ones). They also tell employees not to share salaries, even frown upon employees that do share salaries with their colleagues. For example, two employees in the same position supporting the same office and contract, SA says to one employee that they earn a lower salary because they don't have a higher level education as other employees (even though the job description doesn't require this) BUT to another employee with the higher education level (not required for the job), SA also tells them they get paid less than others because the job position doesn't require that high level of education. For anyone who is thinking about working here, proceed with caution. If you fill out the online application, when you list your salary range make sure to list your lowest range higher because if they hire you, they will offer your lowest range number. When you try to negotiate they tell you well you put this as an option and this is all we can do for you. This company looks great from the outside in, even got a spot on the list of great companies to work for in Arlington,VA but if you talk with current and even former employees who left because they were gaslit, undervalued, mistreated, or didn't drink the cool aid and received retaliation for raising concerns in a professional manner, you'll learn the truth of how this company is the opposite of diverse, inclusive, or respectful to ALL employees.
