I worked at StreamServe full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

International atmosphere, great working culture, short lines, flexible work hours

    Cons

Traveling could be seen as a Con. Others love it though

    Pros

Good people. Finally got a good CEO in there the past few years. Good integration/partnership with SAP. Direction and focus improved the past few years.

    Cons

Early years saw weak senior management. Management blunders and economy hampered us over the years. Too much reliance on big enterprise deals, especially when most of them fall through.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on partners, reward employees

  3. "Extremely high company politics especially with Senior Management"

    Pros

    Great product, excellent customer base

    Cons

There are more cons than pro's. The senior leadership team is always looking to covering thier backs. Now you should, but when its all that they do, they you need to seriously think, if you want to be directed under such leadership

    Advice to Management

You need to value your employees and take care of them, instead of focusing on your peers and the politics that goes around

    Pros

StreamServe has excellent products, customers and partners. The core product engine is incredibly stable and performs its tasks without failure day in and day out. The design environment is easy to use and can be configured to solve practically any document process requirement, simple or complex.

    Cons

Senior management seem to be more focused with maintaining their status quo positions and watching out for each other than they are with achieving even a small amount of success. Success, after all, might result in increased interest for acquisition. Due to this lack of inspired leadership, employees' careers are left in holding patterns with no real potential for taking on greater challenges or growing into different roles.

    Advice to Management

Everyone wants to have a successful career at a successful company. For a company with such great products and talented employees, it is extremely disappointing to realize that the only thing standing between StreamServe and success is its senior management team.

    Pros

Superb working environment. Skilled colleagues, nice managers, good offices, and a nice place in general. Very flat hierarchy promotes communication.

    Cons

Heavy workload and shortage of people due to hiring freeze. Typically, everybody knows what to do but may not have time to do it.

    Advice to Management

Give us some more people, so we can improve product quality. The things we build deserve better, as do our customers.
