Staying true to our values, and to show that we take reviews such as this seriously, we held a session on this at our latest team meeting and we have asked our team to respond to this comment. This is a summary of what they said:
We hear your comments and are sad and sorry you feel that way and wish you had spoken up at the time, however we feel this does not represent what it is like to work at Strengthscope. This is not consistent with what we have experienced and is not the way we see the managers and the way things are here: our culture.
We don’t feel that we ‘preach’ strengths, but we do believe that the strengths approach leads to people bringing their best selves to work, and this is what we are encouraged do every day, it is part of our daily life. In terms of Diversity and Inclusion we have a team with more than 7 countries represented, a healthy gender balance, and a good mix of backgrounds and ethnicity.
Strengthscope is growing fast and as such is changing, and will continue to for the foreseeable future but this creates opportunities for us and to quote one of our team directly ‘there may not be so much room for promotion but there are acres of space for growth’.
We want to take on board your feedback and to do this, we will continue to encourage everyone to speak up if they are not having the best experience so that we can help before it’s too late, through line management conversations, directly to the management team or via our suggestions box.
We wish you well in your next job.
