Pros

Co-workers are the only pros about working here

Cons

Under appreciated, rude and inappropriate comments constantly from upper management, turn over is less than 6 months because employees are treated so poorly, make excuses for everything, underpaid and over worked, people in positions of authority have no experience in a lab and are useless, doesn’t care about employees, asks upper management to write good comments on here so people will apply

Pros

Great group of co-workers, exciting growth and bright future for company. Management has recently become more proactive and has taken an increased interest looking to develop employees and promote from within. Good structure and processes are being put into place to be able to handle future growth and size increase. Bright future for this business.

Cons

Growing pains are being felt as workload is very high and employee numbers need to increase; finding good, qualified candidates takes a lot of time. Retaining good employees has also been difficult, leading to too-much on people's plates in the interim or too-long of a work day. Management has taken a recent turn (past 3 months) to address bottlenecks and pay more attention to employee development and employment satisfaction.

Pros

Coworkers are great people. Clients are nice.

Cons

Management is terrible. Requests fall on deaf ears. You ask for help and get ignored. Incentives are promised but never given. You are expected to work long hours, if you do leave on time is frowned upon. Training is non existent

Suburban Testing Labs Response

Thank you for your review of your employment at Suburban Testing Labs. I’m sorry that you feel that management has not heard your requests for help. Hopefully you are still working with us and have seen that based on feedback from our team we have recently made significant changes to our management team. These changes are still in the early stages but the positive impact has already been noticeable. This year we’ve seen tremendous growth that has exceeded our projections and stretched our resources across all departments. We remain committed to bringing in the right people into the right positions so that everyone can enjoy a better balance. I’m extremely concerned about your comment regarding not being given incentives that you earned. One of our most important operating principles is “We deliver what we promise when we promise it” and that applies to our team just as much if not more than it applies to our clients. If you met an incentive objective and did not receive the proper compensation that you were promised, I encourage you to utilize our open door policy to report this issue so we can resolve it in a timely manner.
