    Pros

    1. Very smart management and engineering team.
    2. Dedicated team willing to work long hours and weekends to meet aggressive time tables for development of very complex systems on a chip
    3. Company was able to develop a very challenging technology in near record time at a reasonable cost

    Cons

    1. Management systems need to be upgraded to improve communications between the engineering team and management, particularly with respect to tape outs, work flow, and product roadmap
    2. Management and board need to have more frequent meetings with well organized agendas and standardized reporting

    Advice to Management

    Improve communications with employees and board of directors. Seek large strategic partners to accelerate commercialization.

    I worked at TENSORCOM full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    You will have the chance to earn the opportunity to work on challenging and very interesting blocks;
    Cross department interactions are easy;
    Managers are personable and reasonable;
    Minimum politics;
    Multiple tapeouts annually, schedules are, and should be demanding, deadlines need to be reasonably kept, which means flexibility is expected at times.

    Cons

    If you are looking for strict 5 day work week, 8 hr workday, this is not be the best place for you.

    Advice to Management

    If annual party is held 120 miles away, giving notice one day in advance is disingenuous.

    I worked at TENSORCOM full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Challenging job and cutting edge technology. Friendly working environment. New management is better than before. Tapeout comes every few month. Hopefully, production is going to be ready soon and going well. No more yelling. I'm looking forward Tensorcom will become a well established company.

    Cons

    Intense work environment because we are small company and limit resource. However, scheduling is much much reasonable, efficient and more manageable on project.

    Advice to Management

    Top management need to have fast response to our potential customer inquiries.

    I have been working at TENSORCOM full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    This company was established to develop the next generation super high speed wifi chip. This is a good place for passionate engineers to polish their skills in a cutting-edge project. And the project is going very well. Employees will be able to enjoy the fruits of victory soon.
    Management have been completely changed. The new top manager is very friendly. I feel much more relaxed now.

    Cons

    This is not a place to enjoy retirement life like what you can do in some well-established companies. Tape-out comes every a few months.

    Advice to Management

    The HR system has to be improved a lot, like performance evaluation, salary adjust and promotion. It's very frustrating if your actual level and contributions can't be recognized.

    I have been working at TENSORCOM full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Challenging work
    Cutting edge 60 GHz/WiGig technology
    Interesting collaborative projects with customers' and their applications of Tensorcom's 60GHz technology
    Much, much improved work environment. Gone is the Steve Jobs school of management.

    Cons

    Tensorcom is an intense place to work. It has to be, because it is competing against the likes of Qualcomm/Wilocity, Broadcom, Intel, and Panasonic. All companies with far bigger budgets and staffs. If it weren't for the intense focus, hard work and dedication of Tensorcom's loyal employees, Tensorcom would not be the leader in having the lowest power consumption, single chip solution for the 60GHz/WiGig market.

    Advice to Management

    The new management team has fostered a work environment that is more conducive to creative engineering solutions, and more open communications between engineering disciplines within the company. The future Success or Failure of the company will depend upon whether this new environment is allowed to flourish or wither away.
