    I worked at Talent2 full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great people support and opportunity. Excellent systems and work environment.
    Reward for results.

    Cons

Results oriented so if you are not prepared to really work hard, forget it.
Long work hours required to acheive results.

    Advice to Management

Keep on keeping on. When you are green you grow as a great man once said.
    Thanks for the wonderful opportunity

    Pros

-absolutely nothing that you couldn't find in different company.

    Cons

-Its an office which embodied the typical boss-licking, brainwashing, and hierarchy differential treatment.

-Its the worst possible place for anyone whom wishes to have a career in recruitment. Unless being in a cult-like environment pleases you.

    - the best people, the real leaders had all left.

    Advice to Management

-Stop hiring, promoting, and putting the " wall street wannabes" in charge.

    Better communication with employees

I worked at Talent2 (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Talent2 was a fantastic company back in 2010 to 2014 before Allegis took over.

    Cons

Talent2 sold out to Allegis (an American company) who unfortunately tried to turn a great Australian company into an American company where values, beliefs, styles etc are completely different. They lowered salaries and all experienced consultants, managers, admins, slowly left a company that went from a very low-turnover to an extremely high turnover. Very disappointing to watch the demise of what was a fantastic organisation.

    Advice to Management

It's too late now. You should have listened at the start Allegis.

    Pros

Took hit during GFC that saw change in behaviours

    I worked at Talent2 full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Not many really, other than CBD location.

    Cons

The company is focused on KPI's for KPI sake - very bottom end salaries, they don't care about their people and it has a massive retention issue.

    Advice to Management

    Resign -

    I worked at Talent2 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good People (Although most of the good people were getting poached left right and centre due to Salary)
    Good Office..?

    Cons

Culture went down the toilet with change of salary structure & everyone leaving
Not enough professional development opportunities within the business to upskill

    Advice to Management

Invest more in your people. If the office lacks performers, bring in performers. I am a big believer in training people up but if there are no performers left in the office to train or mentor them then it does not exactly breed a recipe for success..

I worked at Talent2 (More than a year)

    Pros

I suppose the CBD office is quite nice.

    Cons

Rampant bullying, clueless management, bottom-end salaries, and a culture that seems to place physical appearance and whether you went to "the right" private schools above skills and performance.

    Advice to Management

Hire some experienced people managers. Clean out the dead wood.

    I worked at Talent2 full-time

    Pros

    - Good corporate ethos
    - Genuinely caring people

    Cons

    - Feels a bit lost
    - Bottom of market base salaries
    - Heavy micromanagement and KPI driven business
    - Archaic systems

    Advice to Management

Falling under the Allegis model, the business has a one size fits all approach to management, and that one size is best set up for juniors who need a lot of guidance. Micromanagement will drive experienced recruiters out the door.
