    Flexible Hours and can have a say in making your own schedule every semester that you are working

    Cons

    No cons for me - a lot of work on top of school but worth it to get the experience of teaching and the full responsibility of a classroom.

    Advice to Management

    keep your students happy. they put a lot of time and effort into creating a safe teaching environment and want a safe learning environment.

    Pros

    There is an awesome friendly environment at Tarleton State University that you can't find anywhere else. The people are always looking to help one another.

    Cons

    There is a ton of red tape you must go through to get anything big done. This is common for four year universities but it gets in the way.

    I worked at Tarleton State University part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Flexible with student schedules. A lot of free gear comes with the job. I was able to gain a lot of experience in my field.

    Cons

    Hard to separate work and personal life. Not enough pay for a full-time student to live on unless you have multiple jobs.

    Working with professors with a ton of real world experience.
    Flexible hours.

    Cons

    Sometimes professors come in and drop off stuff for us to grade without asking if we have a break in our work to help them.
