I have been working at TaxHawk part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I don't know if you can beat the pay for part-time in Provo. It's the perfect job while in school. They give you a bonus at the end of the tax season and want you to come back each tax season if you don't blow it. You also learn a lot about taxes which is nice.

    Cons

The job isn't very glamorous. You just sit at your desk and crank through support issues while listening to music.

I worked at TaxHawk part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Very comfortable place to work.
Co-workers are easy to get along with and can easily be approached with questions.
Relatively stress free place to work.
Typically give out bonuses to everyone after a successful tax season.

    Cons

Not very many opportunities for advancement if you aren't already in a management position.
Location is not in a very exciting part of town.

I worked at TaxHawk part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Nice people
    Lots of perks
    Good level of compensation
    Flexible Hours

    Cons

    Odd location (semi-residential area)
Small, not as polished as larger companies
    Down-time can be boring

    Advice to Management

Actively reward those who are really working vs those who are wasting time. Have some kind of per-unit reward system on top of the hourly rate instead of flat hourly rate to improve performance.
