      Decent pay and decent coworkers

      Cons

      I got blamed for other people’s mistakes, which led to me getting laid off at a time where money was an issue. Really just a bad team lead. Also this job doesn’t really set you up too well for different /more modern tech jobs / areas

      Pros

      Relaxed steady paced environment, work-life balance focused company. They hire developers out of college, so it can be a good place to begin your career. Leadership is generally patient, understanding, empathetic, and employee focused.

      Cons

      Not much opportunity to grow and learn new things after the first year. The culture varies team to team, some teams were fun to be on, others destroyed my motivation. When working remote, it felt isolating and felt less supported.

      Great team leads who will help you learn the skills you need. Will sponsor clearance

      Cons

      Terrible location, communication around RTO handled poorly. Expect to commute to dahlgren 5 days a week to telework in the office.
