I worked at Technip full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great Pay - Great Training Programs (if and when allowed/approved by manager.)

    Cons

(pre-TechnipFMC) Was a top heavy organization. Constant battles within global senior management and at times complete refusal to comply to companies SOP's which conveyed a poor message; fostering internal conflict/chaos and combative client communication/ resolution. Failure to comply to contractual agreements and focused on constructing loop holes vs fulfilling on time deliverables. Zero to negative company cultural behavior along with communications to those employees fulfilling/exceeding contractual/ project specifications and fulfillment.

    Advice to Management

Focus less on the "Global Top Employer" certificates and actually be a Top Global Employer by listening to the employee issues and concerns. (Unbias/ {detach} emotional evaluation of employee performance)

    Pros

Good benefits, flexible, good environment....until the downturn of oil

    Cons

Management is not that open to suggestions and pretty much if you are on their favorites list you get away with things. Some people should have been fired a long time ago
