The company positions itself as if they stand for equal treatment and inclusion, the reality is that is a very hierarchical environment, like in Europe in the 70s, where you can easily get humiliated by the CEO in front of everybody. Feedbacks are poorly delivered, not constructive and they are always around the well-being of the CEO and what you can do better to make his life easier, not yours. It’s his way or no way.
Innovation is left aside because you are so scared of saying anything and being screamed at that you just prefer to use your time to look for a different job.
The sentence I heard the most is “I have no time for you”. No matter the position you have, you may become object of bad jokes (even on your physical appearance) or being ignored while your colleagues will be praised publicly. As much as it’s an international environment where any background is welcome, certain nationalities are clearly more welcome than others. Being a small business there’s no possibility of development.
