I worked at Teltronics as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Management leads by example. Hard work combined with positive focus on customer needs lead to positive outcomes and positive employee satisfaction levels.

    Cons

Company's market place is limited. It needs to expand either to other countries or expand its product line to open new markets. Strong loyalty to employees sometimes leads to a slower response time for HR issues

    Advice to Management

Expand product line and continue to grow managment team depth.

I worked at Teltronics full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Steady paycheck, for a while. Colleagues were good people.

    Cons

Pay freeze in effect the entire time I was there. Management strategies were very short-term; to make it to the end of the next fiscal quarter, rather than to be sustainable for the long term.

    Advice to Management

I hope you enjoyed the annual upper management 'circle of excellence' cruises while the rest of us were denied the tools necessary to do our jobs.

I worked at Teltronics full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great coworkers and middle management worked hard to support and create a positive environment. Provided excellent customer support for clients in all product lines

    Cons

Fells like there was a disconnect from the top management, product development was not supported as it needed to be. Typical employee pay was not equal to similar positions within the industry.

    Advice to Management

The employees of this company are your strongest resources. work on supporting product development

    Pros

Middle management can be very enjoyable to work with. Good about hiring within. Flexible with time off.

    Cons

Upper management is overpaid and not worth it. Communication is non existent other than random whisperings in the hallway. The pay is low unless you are part of the upper management and their "inner circle." Too many "ups and downs". Lack of vision for the business. It's a shame because they had a great team.

    Advice to Management

Take better care of the people who build the product you are trying to sell. Without them you don't have a whole lot going for you.

    Pros

Great team of people to work with; smart, innovative, and really try.

    Cons

Leadership is severely lacking. No communication, analysis-paralysis. Employees are not valued for what they contribute.

    Advice to Management

The employees want the company to succeed...listen to them and seriously consider their ideas.
