    Pros

Team is very easy going & not too much pressure. Awesome benefits.

    Cons

Very behind in technology compared to competitors. No real processes in order to follow, need to be standardized across the board.

    Advice to Management

Look into advancing technology to make company more competitive when quoting business.

I worked at Tokai Rika (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good salaries. Casual work atmosphere. Great location. Great benefits.

    Cons

Very bad leadership. Japanese leaders tend to forget they're no longer in Japan. Asians are the preferred hire. They'd hire and promote an unqualified Asian, well before hiring or promoting Americans, women, or minorities. Politics are very bad. If you're not Asian, your ideas and value to the company will never be respected. They tend to think Asians are the best workers.

Management style is very reactive. No strategy. No vision. If it wasn't for Toyota providing the foundation, TRAM would never exist in the U.S. market as a tier 1 automotive supplier.

    Advice to Management

Encourage women. Encourage diversity. Value everyone's input. Hold managers accountable for their failing departments. The only way TRAM will ever become competitive, will be to change the leadership, localize, and become more diverse. Remember, you're located in the United States, not Japan.

I worked at Tokai Rika as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Needed a job and Health Insurance

    Cons

The employees are bullies, they talk about people, the co-workers create defects on the employee's that they dont like just to get them fired... the employee's always complain about the company, Don't care about making productivity, the employee's harass and bully the Temps, The Human Resoures dept are LIAR's... they dont fire or write up the bullies or complainers. they fire the employee's or temp's that go to HR to report the employee's causing the problems..HR dept has no GUT's to take on the employee's

    Advice to Management

No personal growth, No promotion unless your black or asian, compay has no value's ....Start by firing the Human Resourse Dept and getting in an HR that is not afraid of the employee's or the black employee's. Fire the bullies and complainer's those that dont care about meeting productivity Fire the Team Leaders, Supervisor and Section Managers they have horrible management skills the employee's walk all over them. GET CONTROL OF THE COMPANY
