Pros
cool company with room for growth
Cons
scheduling was kinda weird
Pros
Working with coworkers had a very good dynamic and felt like a family. During off-seasons the restaurant was fairly slow and work was chill. Learning to get everything done quickly and properly is easy.
Cons
During on seasons (late fall through winter) the store gets really busy, and people have a tendency to come in in droves, especially at nights when the shifts tend to be skeleton crews because the store is usually slow otherwise. Without fun and/or hardworking coworkers the shifts become really boring.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Tom+Chee part-time for less than a year
Pros
There are no pros when bosses have their hand in the tip jar.
Cons
Pay is terrible. Constant health code violations. Constantly told how terrible you are. You hear the boss tell the shift leaders they can't afford to pay the employees if they even go a minute over time. Lack of supplies. They shut down one of their stores without giving employees a chance to find other employment, left them high and dry.

Pros
Free food, only sometimes. Tips AFTER you get tested.
Cons
BAD owner BAD management no benefits because no one is full time. unprofessional-ism business is bound to fail, owner is rude to guests as well. blatant disregard for employees, if someone is sick on the job? oh well. good luck asking for help, they'll tell you it's okay to ask but then judge you for asking. MICRO MANAGES!!!!!

RecommendsNeutral OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at Tom+Chee part-time for less than a year
Pros
Easy menu, decent amount of downtime, coworkers were cool and the hours were fairly flexible. Also half off food during or after your shift.
Cons
Small staff ment you might take an 45mins to an hour to close or that you might be working two stations during third shift. Also equipment had a tendency to break a lot.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookDisapproves of CEOI have been working at Tom+Chee full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
The fellow employees are the best reason to work at Tom+Chee. They are the reason most have stayed as long as they have.
Cons
Cancellation of benefits without warning. Several layoffs have occurred throughout the last few years. Current employees have taken on multiple job responsibilities after each layoff without any raises.
