Pros

-Decent amount of freedom in planning academic lessons for students -Fellow educational therapist assistants, for the most part, were very enjoyable to work with -Solid training when starting the position

Cons

-Educational therapist did practically nothing, was fired, and then no replacement came in for months afterward -Complete lack of a negative reinforcement system for when students acted out and/or became violent, i.e. no detention, suspension, additional homework, etc. -Amount of responsibility vs. compensation was very unbalanced
