    I worked at Tradebe full-time

    Pros

Great people to work with, lots of hours if you don't have a busy life. Get to travel and see different parts of southeast

    Cons

When traveling, you were kinda stuck at hotel with no way to get around. No way to go back to school because of random work hours

    Advice to Management

I was pleased with management. They treated me fairly and were very patient. They always had a schedule for us which was nice

I have been working at Tradebe full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Ins is awesome, they provide long term and short term disability ins to you as a driver at no charger as it's a hazmat chemical company. You also get so many personal, vacation, and a float vacation days per year to use at your disposal depends on how long you've been here. Your base pay is hourly, but there are runs when u get paid mileage, some pay flat rate, plus you get sleeper berth pay, and u get paid for any on duty hours including and up to if your broke down on the road. Dispatch in ec and in tn are honest and will tell you the truth when something is changed. You as a driver get a bonus end every month if no issues. Income could be substantial. Best income I've had ever as otr or regional driver since started almost 30 yrs ago by far. They patient with drivers at times as long as your honest.

    Cons

Upper management willing to lie to any employee at any time without regard and will throw someone under the bus unless you have proof otherwise. So if something happens make sure all ur duckys are in a row and lined up. The ten day in back of ten plant is a disaster and a life changer and road goin to ten day can be the same. The holes are so big you can get lost in them to never be found need to get fixed and stay on top of it as it's only getting worse daily. They've got the money to fix it. Especially since they've been buying other companies. Some of the equipment is held together with bandaids literally they patch it hopin for long term fix to keep driver or anyone else moving.

    Advice to Management

Fix the ten day in tn as the big pot holes are a health hazard speaking mechanically and health as someone can really get hurt. Room for advancement as a driver to other opportunities is unknown at least for drivers. Management and upper management will and able to lie, mislead you, and manipulate you and the truth in any chance or circumstances they can when it benefits them. Only hurt if the CEO never met him.

I worked at Tradebe full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    N/A nothing positive to say

    Cons

to much focus on senior management, no upside or career growth unless you come from a competitor.

    Advice to Management

Pay your people on time. Lose your lousy middle management team and invest in safety at the plant and on the road. To the CEO, dump your upper management team. Your reputation is just getting worse. Better yet sell off the assets before someone else get's hurt or worse.

I worked at Tradebe full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    There are no pros, honestly.

    Cons

Poor communication between management and chemists. Different divisions of the company compete with each other instead of cooperate. Management does NOT care about your health and safety, they only want to make their money and will make you do anything to get the job done and make the customer happy. Irregular schedule and work hours. Some weeks you work up to 70 hours in 5 days and other weeks you will struggle to even get 35 hours. So either way, overtime is not worth it to work that hard, and the pay is laughable at anything less than 40 hours a week. Bottom line, NOT worth it. You will work way too hard for such little pay, and most of all such little appreciation from management. There is a reason there is a high turnover rate and people usually don't last more than six months to a year.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate your employees more. Show more accountability for poor management on your part instead of blaming the chemists. PAY your chemists much more per hour. Tradebe has so much potential in New England specifically. There are six state universities, four Ivy Leagues, and many other big-name colleges. Boston has the most colleges per unit area than anywhere else in the world. There is SO MUCH potential here. The technical services could have a monopoly on those contracts within 5-7 years but that is never going to happen. If you want to be the top dog and win those contracts you need a team of experienced chemists. But you're never going to get to that point. You want a team of 5 chemists with 3+ years of experience each? You need to keep your employees for longer than just a few months to a year. Technical services has so much potential here in New England and the opportunity will never be achieved. And it is ALL managements fault. Good managers mean chemists will stay with the company and be productive, and thus more business and more money. Your biggest downfall is being too cheap and stingy. You've gotta spend money to make money. Business 101, guys.

    Pros

Most of the people are friendly. Steady (albeit low) paycheck.

    Cons

Micromanagement, no growth opportunity, very low pay, insurance sucks, no OT allowed, only get a raise every other year, many more complaints. You pretty much don't matter to them unless you are from Spain or are one of the "Core" SAP crew.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of some of these overpaid idiots and let the little people do their job without someone breathing down their necks! Give us a decent pay, one that we can live on.
