1) The hiring process is extremely long for no apparent reason. You can be hired and won’t start until two months later. 2) You’ll be trained with a current employee for their entire shift. Sadly, you will only receive $7.25 despite doing the majority of the work while the trainee does whatever. 3) Also, the trainee hours will not reflect your hours. So, you may train for 6 hours and be expected to work 12 hours. 4) Client’s notes are required 72 hours after a shift, but management will pester you for them the morning after despite a long shift. 5) If you quit or were fired, then expect your paycheck to be short about $200 for certifications. You will not receive proof of certifications, but they’ll still charge you. They will also state an “advance” on paystub despite you not receiving any advances. 6) Clients’ families will expect you to break rules for them. 7) Management has unrealistic expectations. Example: The client can be mute, but you are supposed to practice speaking with a client and suppose to write notes about his or her progress.
