I worked at Two Degrees as a contractor

    Pros

great benefits including paid sick and vacation after just a few months and paid holidays as well

    Cons

not a lot of leads on local, well-paying temp work - most staffing positions available are not in legal industry

    Advice to Management

get someone to infiltrate the legal practices within the Phoenix metro area there are a lot of independent contractors looking for good agencies

I worked at Two Degrees as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are NO PROS with in this Agency!

    Cons

    Multiple:
Only pays 2 time a month (undisclosed)
Automatic Deduction for NON- ELECTED Health Insurance (Mandatory)
No placement follow up from recruiter's

    Advice to Management

Consultants are HUMAN BEINGS and need to be treated as such!
Consultants are not personal ROBOTS for the recruiters and that needs to be addressed immediately. Your Recruiters want to be treated as "GODS" for placement
of the Consultants ... which is their JOB!! They are not suppose to IMPOSE personal favors as payment for placing Consultants BUT THEY DO!!

    Pros

Great team, supportive management that promotes our company's core values and entrepreneurial spirit, interesting projects and clients.

    Cons

Industry has a bad rep which makes it a challenge to prove we're different, but once given the chance to do so it's clear we are.

I worked at Two Degrees as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great communication and follow up! Great attention to detail in the onboarding process. Maintained clear communication during my short time going from contractor to full time employee with an amazing company based in Seattle!

    Cons

Aside from a few hiccups with their access portal to complete timesheets and a complicated labyrinth to get to pay statements, this place is top notch and always on the up and up!

    Advice to Management

I highly recommend this place if you have the right skill set and are willing to work hard for the job you want. These folks are very connected to the tech industry and can help many people land a great job in these fields.

I worked at Two Degrees as a contractor

    Pros

Good pay, nice staff to work with. Some PTO and benefits.

    Cons

More concerned about making clients happy, not as concerned about placing contractors with jobs they want. No promotions or better opportunities after years of contracting. Didn't feel like they listened to location or assignment preferences. Usually only heard from them when assignment was wrapping up, so you don't feel like a part of Two Degrees or the company where you are contracting.

I worked at Two Degrees as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Slalom Consulting (Two Degrees) is a preferred vendor at Microsoft

    Cons

In 1.5 years working on my contract I didn't receive any inquiries from Slalom if I liked the contract role/management/company or had discussions about my next steps in the career.
No rate raises even on long term contracts even if you have an outstanding performance. They follow up with the reporting manager only to learn about your performance.
No promotions, perks, training. No discussions about better opportunities.

I worked at Two Degrees as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Good client companies, professional staff, good benefits

    Cons

More concerned about getting clients, less concerned about placing and keeping employee/contractors.

    Advice to Management

Work harder to place employees/contractors coming off of contracts.

I worked at Two Degrees full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Most of the people who work there are really great. As a contractor you don't get to see them much because you're at the client most of the time but they're a lot of fun.

    Cons

Little to no upward mobility in responsibility or pay. Bench time can drag on for weeks sometimes.

    Advice to Management

You need to apply some pressure to some of your account managers to produce new contract opportunities. Some of them are just phoning it in.
