    I worked at Upstream full-time

    Pros

Great exposure, growth potentials if you're willing to relocate after accounts, Good pay compared to market standards, flexibility with working hours if you're not in the main office.

    Cons

Unpredictable workload with periods of extreme stress and weekends working. Management transparency can be improved. Old technology when it comes to internal processes (still using excel for accounting), Market is volatile due to the international nature.

    Advice to Management

Overall good management with the usual politics from time to time.
Listen to voices within and not just in the HQ.

Ability to assess and shift in the market
Take the hard and right decisions
Great for people with 2-3 years of experience
    Great Compensation & Benefits

Communication between teams is difficult. Departments seem siloed.
Gives the 'sense' of comfort but a sense of urgency is always on.
    Long hours.

    Advice to Management

Include your people in the design of products. Don't just push down the information.

I worked at Upstream full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It's a very fast paced company and that gives you the opportunity to work and be involved with many things. Nice office place (even some of the offices were a bit messy, due to the increase of headcount), very competent people working there, casual and friendly environment. Good salaries and benefits to most departments, comparing the Greece reality.

    Cons

The working hours can be very long at times. The lack of transparency and communication of the strategy to the employees causes insecurity and lack of commitment. Too many organizational changes over the past 1+ year.

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent and close to the people. Seek for honest feedback and utilize it. You won't have commitment and loyalty otherwise.
