Pros

OK pay and fun people to work with.

Cons

The president ran a great company and was very friendly and business savy. Now the CEO has taken over and is cutting every corner possible. You never now where you stood within the company. The last three month I worked there I knew I was going to be let go because I never received any feedback. No news is bad news. Very stressfull.

Pros

Access to market analysis software Get paid to understand market analysis, technical analysis, options, ect.

Cons

Poor management accountability- the managers consider poor metrics an extension of support, and not the business model. Managers will play "pass the buck," leaving you feeling exhausted trying to help the customer. Managers will hide behind company policy to stiff the customer out of subscriptions/money, and will make support deal with irate customers. Company will require you to support products will little or poor training. Marketing will put out product and NOT inform support on pros and cons of product, leaving support incompetent when speaking to customers. Company supports the entitled attitude of the customer by being inconsistent when enforcing policy. Information from team member to team member will vary. What you know will depend on who teaches you. You will learn different aspects about the same thing time and time again. This company will state they are not big on sales, but that is ALL they do. Subscriptions can cost at least $600/year, but additional sales for courses that teach the same information will be marketed heavily. The product is a subscription service, so retention of customers weighs heavier on keeping employment than knowing the market, product knowledge or other efficiencies. You will be required to "talk" customers into keeping product, and hopefully going into auto-billing by forgetting their billing arrangement. New employees develop PTO days every 72 days for the first day, and 1 week vacation after the first year, with no rollover. There's no true HR department, and those in high positions are there based on nepotism. Family member of owner, or family member of other high-ranking positions.
