I worked at Veritix (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible with schedule. Was able to pick up 5 to 28 hours in the Dallas Call Center. Nice product being sold who does not love sports?

    Cons

The pay is low and when they brought in a new account they didn't give us a raise.

    Advice to Management

Give people a raise and help them grow in company

I worked at Veritix (More than a year)

    Pros

One of the great strengths of Veritix was its carefully cultivated culture of egoless integrity. It's not about who is right, but about what is right. When an entire organization embraces this ideal, it reduces friction, creates camaraderie, and enables the creation of amazing products.

    Cons

A recent merger has created confusion about the direction and vision of the organization.

    Pros

Great team, great industry and just downright fun

    Cons

very very political; its almost toxic how some underachievers get around the system and rewarded

    Advice to Management

try to find out who is performing and who isn't. Treating everybody equally is great in theory, but unfair to those who are busting their butts

    Pros

There are no pros for this company. In order to submit this review I have to type 20 work min.

    Cons

Unprofessional, hostile and ghetto environment. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

    Advice to Management

Treat employees the way you want to be treated! People are more than just a way to pay your mortgage.

    I worked at Veritix full-time

    Pros

Very relaxed, laid back to the extent that people are way too busy devising ways to keep their jobs secured by not sharing any knowledge among co-workers.

    Cons

One will learn how to fool the management by lying how much was accomplished, learn to put down others who are smarter. Engineering management will definitely fire if one is smarter than the hiring authority.

    Advice to Management

Engineering department is mediocre at best and need to be lead by a competent person. Workplace threat, insulting job candidates by literally keeping them waiting for hours while the interviewing manager is playing ping-pong, asking prospective minority employment candidates to do pushups or other insulting acts only becasue the hiring manager thinks he can since the candidate needs jobs etc are just some of the disgusting practices at Veritix Inc., at the Dallas location.

    I worked at Veritix full-time

    Pros

Great people, revolutionary product, solid core technology. Great current market opportunity if they execute it well. Recently made history with largest digital ticketing event ever. Diversifying their client base so as not to be too dependant on any one market.

    Cons

Have had ups and downs with market changes at major competitors. Fighting an entrenched monopoly in which ticketing is not always the main factor in the final vendor choice.

    Advice to Management

Keep the current focus and execute it without distractions.
