    Pros

Incredible agency to work at. Very much a family-esque feel where you can truly be part of the culture and contribute to the amazing work the agency puts out.

    Cons

With a small agency, there is a considerable workload that each person takes on, but the people and the environment make the work that much better.

I worked at WONGDOODY (More than a year)

    Pros

Amazing people, culture and place to work. Once again people are amazing. Tracy tries to push interesting work. Great benefits and work life balance.

    Cons

Some inefficiencies on process, often at the whim of clients (every small agency tbh), not much of a technical presence.

    Advice to Management

Get more into digital, that's where everything seems to be going.

    Pros

Oh, man. Where can I start? The LA office is small - around 30 people. The agency lived up to my expectation and the people were humble, hardworking, and talented. Pam is basically superhuman. She is very detail-oriented and busy as hell, but still she gives everybody her full attention and helpful (never destructive) feedback.

    Cons

Some of the clients aren't very sexy, but WD tries to do the best they can. Sometimes the hours were a little long, but I was happy to do it.

    Advice to Management

Maybe they could push the clients a little more to do better work and take advantage of the capable creative team.

I worked at WONGDOODY (Less than a year)

    Pros

Culture was huge - we supported one another and felt like a very well-oiled machine. I feel like overall the office was run the way an agency should be run, we got in at 9, worked our buns off, and were home by 6.

    Cons

Culture made a noticeable shift in 2013/2014, unfortunately. There wasn't as much focus on relationships or new business, and subsequent major downsizing really hurt morale.
Management and HR was very clique-y.

    Advice to Management

Care about your staff! Really, I can't stress this enough. I feel that my supervisor was completely removed from the overseeing part f their job and that I lost out on development opportunities because of this.

I have been working at WONGDOODY full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The creative team is driven, but the clients generally are not. It can be tough not to get frustrated with the raw potential of the creative leadership.

    Cons

Account, planning and strategy react lethargically to creative pushes and cower to client whims.

    Advice to Management

Great creative work stems from trust and positive reinforcement. If the clients are never pushed, they'll never know what they can gain.

I worked at WONGDOODY full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Office culture is incredible. Everyone is sincere, playful, hardworking and smart. It's well-managed from HR to Creative.

    Cons

It's an ad agency, so sometimes clients need deliverables at inconvenient times. That's everywhere in the ad world, so WD is no exception.

    Pros

Great atmosphere, perfect location in downtown Seattle.

    Advice to Management

Make salaries more competitive taking into consideration cost of living in the Seattle area.
