Pros

My fellow peers, for the most part, are great and wonderful people . One of the most loyal and dedicated staffs I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I respect most all my peers not only as people but professionals as well. To be honest if it weren't for these talented and genuinely good-hearted people, it'd be near impossible to come to work each day.

Cons

Management is visibly distrustful of all staff and adhere to a closed door policy at all times. How are employees not to think management isn't talking about us, especially when they've been proven time and time again to be the worst offenders of back stabbing and immature office gossip. here is a blatant lack of respect for all employees, who work hard and put everything into their jobs on pretty much a daily basis. Each of us were hired to fulfill a specific purpose, yet once your have drank the kool-aid and officially are accepted into the company, leadership has a stroke of genius. All of a sudden they have all the answers. Instead of being the stellar employee they promised you to be when hired, your now a no talent, incompetent loser that lacks any intelligence or business sense. The future of WSOL is looking very grim. Morale is low. Nobody trusts the company, nor feels like they are contributing anything of value to their jobs. How can any company grow in this condition? It's impossible w/out key catalysts like innovation, collaboration, strategy, trust and respect in place.

It's just ok.

Pros

Freedom to do what you want when management is unable to give clear direction. Friday innovation days help relieve stress from the regular work loads.

Cons

Not a lot of honesty from upper management. Leadership changes their mind often. Closed door policy from owners leaves employees wondering often. Long long hours.

Difficult to work with.

Pros

Not much. There used to be lunch. Decent work/life balance.

Cons

First off, the salaries are not competitive. The company's hiring strategy is to find people who are not aware of their value so they can lowball. However, the biggest problem is the sense of nepotism that flows throughout the company. As it grows, there is more of a divide between employees. There is a noticeable difference among those in the "inner circle" from those that are not. If you aren't already in that inner circle, you won't get there. Opportunities for growth and advancement go to those in the inner circle over all else - regardless of qualifications (or lack of). This nepotism is hindering the company's ability to grow and be successful. Employees can treat others like garbage without fear of discipline. One employee sent an email bashing another to the leadership team. No corrective action was taken - in fact, it's likely that the employee who was disparaged doesn't even know because she is remote and they tried to keep her from finding out that another employee was being critical of her. Perceived harassment by one of the employees, which gets laughed off by the leadership team. The current leadership would rather make no decisions then take the time to find the right decision. And when a decision must be made, they appear to make decisions without looking at data or getting informed.
