It's a mess

Pros

Great mid-town location, great health insurance, and free snacks.

Cons

Low pay, lots of stress, and high turnover. Many good people have left, so there are few opportunities to learn and grow. Management's answer to everything is "suck it up and work harder".

Pros

It's a challenging and engaging environment that drives one to beat the alarm clock on a daily basis. Though it's a growing and good sized firm, it's still entrepreneurial in nature. The people are the best in the industry at what they do. We are thoughtful in the way we operate - we work hard but we work smart. Continually dynamic, WisdomTree is an innovative player and the best working environment I've had the chance to be a part of. Senior leadership is a seasoned team with incredible vision for the future of asset management.

Cons

Marketplace recognition can at times be a challenge.

Pros

Good culture, good 401k match, easy to get out in the field if you’re an internal wholesaler looking for a shot at a territory, great product, great resources

Cons

Management is a mess, will not be paid on flows unless you have a ‘confirmed trade,’ which results in more time spent being a detective as opposed to selling. The company is public and very cheap. The board constantly trying to find ways not to pay their sales people. Lots of turnover with field sales reps. And far below industry compensation. Significant portion of bonus is paid in company stock that vests over 3 years. Management is also heavily focused on developing the digital assets business, directing a significant amount of resources away from ETFs to digital assets. I would only recommend this company to young professionals using this role as a stepping stone to a better opportunity.
