    I have been working at Zebra Technologies full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    - I have been associated with Zebra(Formerly Motorola Solutions/Symbol) for more than 10 years, it has been a satisfactory and enriching journey so far.
    - Offers Good Work Life balance (Projects/Programs are well planned ahead)
    - Working on Niche Technology (Enterprise Mobility, RFID, IOT)
    - Open door culture to express your views, concerns
    - Management supports and emphasize to think through innovative idea's and work on POC to showcase in the Technology event.
    - Management is supportive on internal job movements across the team's, which helps to get exposure to different areas.
    - Zebra is a growing company as it is on a hiring spree, thus provides lots of opportunity to lead and succeed.
    - Compensation is satisfactory to Good, At lower levels the compensation is very competitive.

    Cons

    - Process Oriented which at times might take a toll on the overall productivity
    - No Recreation room / No Gym
    - Branding is a concern, thou they are the No.1 in the Enterprise Mobility.

    Advice to Management

    - Management needs to think through ways in Branding the company, as it is not well known name in the Indian IT Industry. Thou Zebra is number 1 in the Enterprise Mobility Market with 60+% market share (Honeywell the next competitor is far behind with ~20%).
    - Plan on Yearly Master Health checkup program for the employee's.

    Pros

    -WFH
    -Learn new stuff, only if you initiate and do it and prove to the management about its viability.
    -Have a few good perks in the office
    -A lot of smart people

    Cons

    -Shifting priorities, and no clear vision. We built a product but failed to execute.
    -No more growth for talented employees so they felt not important.
    -Managers are by title only their hands are tied and no room to create opportunities to its members.

    Advice to Management

    Don't let your people get demotivated. Try to give them space to grow and ability to show case their skills.

    Competitive salary and benefits. Diversifying product portfolio. Financially well managed.

    Cons

    Printing industry in decline. Minimal growth potential. No room to move up unless someone retires.

    Great leadership with focus on vertical markets where Zebra has #1 MS position in the product categories it plays in. Good culture that appreciates talent, work life balance and honesty.

    Cons

    Company focuses on established markets, growth rate is stable but low which limits career advancement opportunities.

    Invest and accelerate new market growth strategies.

    Pros

    Great products and technology
    Wonderful concept of how great companies work to make sure there is a good balance
    Some really fine people work there

    Cons

    The merging of Motorola and Zebra has exposed some major weaknesses within the organization
    There are some really not fine people in teams and mid-management that higher management agreed were causing major disruption, but then did nothing to address the questionable things going on
    Which resulted in proving that the concept of how to run a great company wasn't quite a reality

    Advice to Management

    If an employee brings an issue(s) to you, that you agree are an issue, don't allow management to use performance plans or bullying to get the employee out the door.

    Pros

    Great place to work. The people were all very welcoming, great pay for an intern, overall a good experience.

    Cons

    The atmosphere is very "corporate" feeling. Slightly Micromanaged. My mentor was also never around.

    Advice to Management

    Try to link interns better with mentor. This would have increased my experience ten fold.

    The management sucks. You end up doing monotonous tasks over and over again. It gets old really fast.
