Pros

I've had the pleasure of working with some extraordinarily talented people at ZeroLight, not just in my function on the technical side of things, but over HR, Finance, Operations, & Design. The onboarding process was one of the best I've ever had, and people over all areas of the business are happy to lend a hand, offer advice, or listen to what was happening in my department. I felt that I've had a real opportunity to give input to the direction of the business, and that not just mine, but everyone's ideas were given careful consideration regardless of job title. Most importantly, I've found that people were kind, authentic, and genuine. Ego never factored into decisions, process, or action. I can recommend ZeroLight as a great place to work!

Cons

Feature releases and deliveries can sometimes get lost among the different tech squads, but I believe the process implementations and improvements will continue to address this.

Pros

Nice office in a nice place

Cons

Very male-dominated workplace “Tech debt should be fixed on evenings and weekends” Web devs have to work via remote desktop on windows PCs Very poor remote working culture / support Lots of long-standing staff in middle management positions but very high turnover of new staff Blockers take forever to clear (over a year in some cases) as the company structure is very top-heavy No performance or meaningful salary reviews Low salaries Niche product means a very unfocused product vision and strange prioritisation with little user focus
