Pros

International team Fast pace, with no two days the same “Culture cards” to ensure positive behaviours don’t go unrecognised

Cons

Leadership can’t execute basic ideas Endless self-congratulation about poo-in-the-potty non-achievements All the weaknesses of a corporate, just in bonsai form Untruths about remuneration Presenteeism counting for more than service to the company

Pros

There's a true team spirit, and lunch time laughs are an everyday occasion! A very supportive management team, recognition never goes amiss. Plus they're keen to develop staff so there's some really great opportunities for people who're willing to drive their career progression. Can't not mention Dexter, our office dog who makes the occasional visit 🐾 there's always extra smiles when he's around. Another little bonus is that there's lots of eco-warriors so we're environmentally friendly wherever possible in the office.

Cons

Not much to say here. You have to embrace ambiguity and be able to keep moving forward in the face of change :slightly_smiling_face:

Pros

Leadership team is ≈ 50% women including the founder/CEO; monthly non-boozy socials; weekly yoga classes; family-friendly; flexible working; very supportive & diverse team; excellent benefits for a start-up, including mental well-being support; very interesting (and ethical) business model; interesting technology, design, and business problems to solve; great work-life balance; minimal workplace politics; great Soho location

Cons

Mostly the typical start-up challenges: fast paced, can be a bit chaotic, you get pushed out of your comfort zone quite often, rah-rah culture, and so on. But all those can be pluses, too (they are for me). Just depends what you’re looking for.
