Pros

Potentially interesting product within the EHR space

Cons

Lack of funding to really grow. Living on product life support for for 7 years. Lost all domain knowledge and ingenuity in the market years ago. 10+ year cycle of staffing up and then lay-offs.

You are better than this

Pros

None. Glass door requires I put something here.

Cons

If you are considering employment here, look yourself in the mirror and say "I am better than this." Management uses a style of berating, undercutting and half-truths as motivation. Rather than investing in employees, they have a long-established cycle of adding people then laying off until there is a skeleton crew there. You'll here a lot of talk about "execution" there. What that really means is long hours and never disagreeing with management.

Pros

I love working for an organization that gives me the opportunity to define how successful I will be. During my time at digiChart, I have taken on new roles. I have been given both the freedom to create and the support to guide me in my decisions. Does digiChart expect a lot from its employees? Yes, of course. They expect the best, because our clients expect the best. Is the leadership(CEO, CTO, CFO) out of control? Absolutely not! However, when employees have a problem with respecting leadership, juvenile behavior, and performing the basic functions of their job, then the leadership team will protect the hard-working employees from the disruptive employees. At no time have I ever witnessed any sort of tantrum from the leadership. Do the employees work long hours? Sometimes there is a need to work when our clients are not using our software. However, this is not every night, and it is not mandatory. BUT...EVERY SINGLE TIME I HAVE WORKED AT NIGHT, THE CTO or VP IS WORKING ALONGSIDE ME.

Cons

Trying to recover from previous management takes time.
