Pros

Some good colleagues, decent benefits that come with being a part of the FT.

Cons

Toxic work culture. Major problems with senior management. 0 prospects of growth or promption and when there is management dishes out promotions based on brown-nosing and sucking up instead of rewarding genuine hard workers. Tight work clique that operates and isolates those who aren't part of the gang. Ridiculously high turnover and new recruits are always fresh graduates - very alienating if you're older than 25. Management will make decisions on your behalf then issue an email on it at 4pm on a Friday before they go on annual leave so it can't be addressed if you even wanted it to. The place is a dumpster fire, if you have an ounce of self-respect don't even consider it.

Pros

Looks good on CV - particularly as FDI Intelligence is a division of the Financial Times

Cons

Very repetitive work, management appreciate those who suck up over those who keep their head down and get the job done - creates question of worth within the team, micromanagement at it's finest.
