Last week, our Same but Different network celebrated Neurodiversity Celebration Week 💜 They were joined by Anita Patel, Neuro-inclusion Trainer, Speaker and Coach for a 'Celebrating Neurodiversity and Intersectionality' talk. Anita covered neuro-inclusion in the workplace, and touched on the nuances of neurodiversity in women and how they continue to be misdiagnosed. Not only this, the Same but Different team were handing out fidget toys and setting up life hack stations at our Leavesden & Belfast offices to spark conversation.

Meet Srinija, ASOS' first ever female Principal Engineer 👋 We caught up with her to find out more about Data Engineering, her role, advice she'd give to other women in tech and what international women's day means to her 🫶
Our International Women’s Day (IWD) celebrations have officially started 🥳 This year we’re recognising the themes ‘Accelerate Action’ and ‘For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.’—a call to drive meaningful progress toward gender equity in every aspect of life. Thanks to our Women's + and Women in Tech community, we've got loads of great events, collabs and talks to kickstart the celebrations. Keep your eyes peeled for what we have next 👀
We call him Valerio the vibrant ✨And boy is he living up to his name 👇 Valerio is our Senior Product Support Administrator, but he's also so much more. He's creative, passionate and ALWAYS up for a sing and dance 🕺 He's lead many lives. When he finished his A levels he wasn't sure what to do, so he jumped into the world of work. A job came up, where he then became a hairdresser (and the King of blow drying – he even did a mini session at ASOS to teach everyone his tricks!). He then left hairdressing to pursue fashion design and more recently graduate with a degree in Communications too. Is it any shock that he's a multitasker? 👀 Valerio's also a listener. He's always there for his friends and colleagues, whether it's being the person everyone vents to, to being the ray of sunshine his Manager says he is. His compassion and kindness radiates through his work as a core team member in our THEYSOSers network. His confidence in who he is radiates to those around him, he's a testament to being whoever you want to be. His advice to everyone? "If you're not accepted in a space, then leave and find a space where you are." Who else wants a Valerio in their life? ☝️

Have a remote interview? Want some tips about interviewing virtually?👀 If you're interviewing at ASOS, you'll probably have an opportunity to do a remote virtual interview. So we thought we'd drop some wisdom and tips on how you can be your best self through a screen.
Who's been here for a decade and is helping our customer care ASOSers be whoever they want to be? Fasiha is ✨ Fashia is an EN Model Office Team Leader in our customer care team, but when she's not doing that she's also the co-chair of their DEI network. She started off as a DEI rep focused on religion and ethnicity and has since grown into her role as co-chair. It was Fasiha's vitiligo that spurred her onto to join the CC DEI network, because she wanted to create an inclusive environment where people feel seen and heard. She found it difficult growing up with vitiligo and being in a community that didn't quite understand it, but it fuelled her to join the CC DEI network, so that no one has to feel like that. But if that wasn't enough, Fasiha also finds time to be a baker and has a part-time baking business. During International Women's Month ASOS pulled together a female owned business roadshow, where Fasiha debuted her baking business and it actually helped get it out there for everyone to enjoy. If it wasn't already clear, Fasiha's a woman that wears so many hats, from her role at ASOS, to baking, to being a Pakistani Muslim woman. Her biggest piece of advice to people? "Don't be afraid to ask questions! Step outside of your comfort zone and put yourself out there – it's the biggest thing that holds people back from unlocking new opportunities and learning/growing”. Everyone needs a Fasiha in their life ❤️
There's opportunity everywhere, you just need to look in the right places 👀 Apply for our roles today!
