#TeamAmyris continues to do good in our communities worldwide! We're very proud to share that members of our legal team recently donated several hundred "Foldscopes," (a paper microscope developed at Stanford University) and science books for 5th grade public school students in Barra Bonita, Brazil. It’s PRIDE Month, and #TeamAmyris is building a better future not just in our labs—but in our communities. We’re excited to kick-off PRIDE Month and our employee resource group, OUT@Amyris has planned a series of events to honor, celebrate and educate people about the experiences and histories of the LGBTQ+ community. Another way we're shining a spotlight on PRIDE Month is through our consumer brands including JVN Hair, who’s tagline is, “Come As You Are,” which celebrates and serves everyone’s own unique beauty, just as they are. JVN Hair partnered with Zipeng Zhu, a Chinese-born artist, designer, art director, illustrator, and animator to create a limited edition Pride package for its customer favorite Air Dry Cream. Zipeng is not only a member of the LGBTQIA+ Community, but he also dedicates his work to supporting and amplifying voices for the community.
