BSA Health System is excited to celebrate the arrival of the hospital’s third da Vinci Xi robotic-assisted surgical system. BSA Health System is the only hospital in Amarillo to receive an ‘A’ Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade by the Leapfrog Group. Only 35 other hospitals in Texas were given an ‘A’ for the seventh consecutive time like BSA was in this fall evaluation. This national distinction celebrates BSA Hospital’s achievements in protecting hospital patients from preventable harm and errors. “Being honored with our seventh consecutive ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade showcases BSA’s commitment to fostering a culture of safety and clinical excellence,” stated BSA Chief Executive Officer Michael Cruz. “Our health system prioritizes safety training and protocols, leading to increased patient experiences and outcomes. I am proud of the caliber of care our team provides and their dedication to elevating healthcare in the Texas Panhandle.”
