Last week marked the end of our 2025 U.S. Summer Internship Program. Over the last three months, 30 interns collaborated with departments across the company bringing positive energy, creativity and innovative approaches. Associates had the opportunity to sit in intern presentations, where each student had the opportunity to present what they learned and achieved over the last eight weeks. It was a standout moment for many as students were able to reflect on their learning and celebrate each other's achievements. 💞 As the U.S. program comes to a close, the excitement continues in India, where 11 interns are 30 days into their six-month program. We look forward to their contribution to the organization during our time together! We sincerely thank all our interns for their hard work and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors!
Associates in India came together for a series of in-person ‘Fun at Work’ sessions — bringing energy, laughter and everyone’s favorite midweek tradition back to the workplace. The initiative celebrated connection, well-being and team spirit. 📣 The ‘Fun at Work’ series made a cheerful return in June and July and brought a wave of energy to the midweek routine at the India office. Associates had the chance to unwind, connect with peers and recharge through quick, lighthearted games. 💞 Associates across functions joined in for 40-minute bursts of fun, laughter and friendly competition. Each session served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of taking time to recharge and reconnect, featuring quick, engaging games and the chance to win exciting prizes. 🏆
A few weeks ago, volunteers at Bread Financial gathered at Kempapura Government School, Hebbal, Bangalore for a powerful cause. The CSR Committee partnered with Upkriti to lead the back-to-school initiative to support over 500 underprivileged students through infrastructure improvements, school supply donations, student development programs and on-ground volunteer efforts. The volunteers helped distribute Bread Financial-branded school bags, water bottles and essential stationery kits, and also provided school benches and desks to improve classroom seating. Volunteers also joined students in painting classroom and boundary walls, turning the activity into an engaging and collaborative art session. In total, the initiative contributed more than 122 volunteer hours — a reflection of Bread Financial’s ongoing commitment to giving back and strengthening the communities it serves.
Last month, it was announced that Bread Financial US and India are once again Great Place To Work Certified™! 🙌 This certification comes from the Great Place to Work® Institute, a global authority on workplace culture, associate experience, and leadership behaviors proven to deliver market-leading revenue, employee retention and increased innovation. Certification is determined by an associate survey, which all our associates were asked to complete for their respective office locations. Receiving this prestigious accolade is a testament to our collaborative and inclusive work culture. We celebrate with our associates who make Bread Financial a Great Place to Work every day through the people they work with and the work they do! 💞
In response to the pressing need for potable water during the summer, associates from our India office recently volunteered to help install Bread Financial-branded water purifiers across 10 government schools in the Bangalore area. Each 50-liter purifier now ensures safe drinking water access for more than 3,500 students year round! 🙌 Following the installations, volunteers visited Hesaraghatta Lake for a conservation, which included plant care activities such as watering, pruning, and tending to local flora, and also took part in a plogging drive - collecting litter while jogging - to help clean the lake area and raise awareness for waste management.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month from Bread Financial! From September 15 - October 15, our Hispanic/Latine Business Resource Group (HLBRG) is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. The mission of HLBRG is to cultivate a supportive and uplifting environment for all associates, regardless of cultural background. The aim is to inspire each other to succeed, facilitate networking opportunities, promote growth and development, and discuss topics that impact our community. To start the month, our associates took part in the Latino Heritage Month Parade in downtown Columbus. They also had the chance to hear from Elizabeth Martinez, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio, who shared her journey, insights, and the impact of the organization during a virtual event. Next, our associates can join a virtual cooking demo featuring three delicious dishes that highlight the rich culinary traditions of Hispanic and Latino culture.
