Congratulations to our Marketing and Internal Communications teams, who were recognized at the Raleigh Public Relations Society Awards Banquet earlier this week. #RPRSAwards Our marketing campaign, “Perfectly Imperfect” Thanksgiving brought home a silver award, while our new and improved intranet, "The Table" was recognized at the platinum level. Both awards were truly a team and collaborative effort, but a special shout out goes to Rebecca Welch, senior brand manager, Christa Leupen, public relations manager, and Corinne Watson, communications manager for leading the projects to success. Job well done team!
Butterball supports the American Heart Association! Team members raised over $100,000 for the worthy cause and enjoyed some heart healthy activities at the 2018 Triangle Heart Walk.
Butterball Jonesboro partners with local area career center to give back to high school students exploring career opportunities, as a member of the industrial advisory curriculum to the Northeast Arkansas Career and Technology Center. The center is the largest in curriculum and student participation in the entire state of Arkansas and offers thirteen pathways to align with the needs and career opportunities for students to select in support of local businesses and industries. "The Jonesboro facility is proud to support this program and serve on the industrial advisory committee, said Ray Saturnio, human resources manager, Jonesboro. "We are grateful to give back to our local community and shape the future by impacting students as they explore their future career ventures."
Congratulations to Bill Folk, Butterball Huntsville Complex Manager, for receiving the Arkansas Travelers award! This prestigious award is presented to those visitors that make noteworthy contribution to the State of Arkansas, thereby certifying them as Ambassadors’ to the State. Bill has been instrumental in leading the Huntsville facility with safety efforts that have assisted them in being recognized for 12 consecutive years by OSHA for exemplary safety performance. Thank you to Bill and the Huntsville team for all you have done!

On Wednesday, January 31, Adam Grant, digital community coordinator and assistant brand manager, and Molly Parker, director of food safety and animal care, were recognized for their professional leadership qualities within the meat and poultry manufacturing industry through the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) “30 Under 30” program.
