From our cutting-edge projects to collaborative workspaces, we hope this glimpse into our world inspired each visitor’s passion for #tech! 🏓 🧑💻 🚀 Without a doubt, the highlight of the day was our engaging Q&A session, which included conversations on various career paths, educational opportunities, business operations, and more. From the keynote address to the breakout sessions, the conference was packed with invigorating content that left our team buzzing. Copilot is a game-changer, and we can’t wait to utilize Microsoft’s #AI services in #Azure, #M365, and #Windows to deliver unprecedented value to our clients and partners. 🎓 When renowned Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Howard University was crippled by #ransomware in 2021, they engaged Cloudforce, one of the leading national Microsoft solutions partners, to restore their critical systems to operational capability and lead their cloud migration efforts to #Azure. 🤝 By building on Howard’s existing Microsoft relationship, Cloudforce worked collaboratively with Howard's IT leadership to successfully engineer the rebirth of Howard’s infrastructure in the Microsoft #Cloud in a matter of weeks. Just a little over one year later, Howard is saving $1 million annually by centralizing on Azure and has significantly reduced downtime, doubled its secure score, reduced its servers by half, and created a secure enclave that’s galvanizing its vital research mission. 🔐 💻 📖 Read the full story of how Cloudforce helped restore Howard to its optimal IT efficiency, with readiness to engage on a $90 million, five-year contract from the U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Air Force to establish a research center on campus focused on tactical autonomy technology for military systems. This award made Howard the first historically Black institution to lead a University-Affiliated Research Center (UARC). 🏅

Last Friday, the #eliteforce had a simply grape time at 3 Fox Vineyards! 🍇 It was a perfect day to bask in the sun ☀️, wander around the picturesque vineyards 🌻, and sample some wine. We sipped, swirled, and savored some of the finest wines they had to offer🍷. It was a grape escape from the daily grind, and we crushed it! Our team is now vine and dandy after our wonderful winery outing. We learned that grapes and laughter are the perfect blend for a fun time. With #glee one of Cloudforce’s core values, we believe in the imperative to take time away from our screens to relax, refresh, and connect with one another. We cannot wait to grapevine again soon and cheers to more team outings like this!

And nothing makes us happier than bringing our team, friends, family, and colleagues together to do something good for a great cause. Now through July 4th, Cloudforce challenges all road and stationery non-motorized bikers to enter our “Mileage for a Mission” Challenge, and compete for great prizes while raising funds for Operation Second Chance, a vital non-profit organization providing urgent aid for veterans transitioning from the military. 🚲 🏅 Our goal is to donate $10,000 for 10,000 miles tracked. To do so, Cloudforce will gratefully match every registered participant’s mile biked from now through July 4, 2023, with a matching one-dollar donation. Miles will be tracked for outdoor riders using the Strava app and for stationary riders using the Peloton app. All proceeds will support our very own Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer and USMC Aircraft Firefighting and Rescue Specialist Sergeant veteran Ryan Wessling, in his 7th upcoming Annual Ride Allegheny charity ride this October to support Operation Second Chance, as he joins over 150 other riders on a 4-day, 310-mile ride, from Pittsburgh to Gaithersburg.
