Dr. Ari Hoffman, our new Chief Clinical officer, has a strong background in health policy, and throughout his career has focused on value—cost of care and the burdens of high-cost of care on individuals. Early in his career, Dr. Hoffman worked with impressive mentors that helped to shape his perspective on health reform and ways to think about value and waste in healthcare, including Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, a healthcare adviser for the Obama administration, and Steve Pearson, MD, MSc, founder and President of the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER).
"To close out the celebration of Women’s History month, our Women’s ERG, Collective Women, hosted a virtual event around ways we can all help to #BreaktheBias — complete with personal experiences shared by female leadership, communal kudos, and even some trivia. Over 180 employees attended the event, and helped to raise money for local shelters in our office hub locations of San Mateo, Chicago, and Lehi, as well as for humanitarian efforts in Ukraine. Thank you to Collective Women for leading such an important and engaging event!"

At Collective Health, this year’s theme is especially relevant as we continue to evaluate and expand our services to better meet the social and cultural needs of our partners, customers, and members, including the Black communities we serve.
