As part of our continued efforts to acknowledge the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., JM Family is sponsoring a “MLK Day of Service” this year for our associates. This day of service will be held later in the year due to current COVID-19 restrictions. We can’t wait to share more details about our event later this fall! In lieu of rolling up our sleeves and volunteering together today, we are honoring "MLK Day of Service" by making a $25,000 contribution to the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). The UNCF is an American philanthropic organization that funds scholarships for black students and general scholarship funds for 37 private historically black colleges and universities.

January is International Creativity Month! And just how valuable is creativity? According to a study conducted several years back by the American Marketing Association that asked 500 CEOs and company presidents, 81% said that creativity and vision were the keys to success for the next 5 years!
We are so proud of the work and dedication of our Associates, especially in our Corporate Philanthropy efforts. During the 2019 North Fulton Community Charities Thanksgiving Food Drive, our Associates helped sort food for over 400 families and 131 seniors. This year, our volunteerism looks different, but the heart and passion of our Associates for bettering the community remains the same.
