As we celebrate Internship Awareness Month, we want to highlight @Helena Nafziger from @Kent State University. She thrived during her internship in our Hangar Support Logistics department last summer. One of the most memorable moments from her internship was when she was driving on the property with her supervisor and witnessed a spontaneous airshow featuring a P-51 Mustang. "Getting to see all kinds of unique aircraft, aerobatic flights, and hear cool stories was a huge highlight for me," she said. Helena feels more prepared for future professional opportunities after her internship, stating, "Not only does my experience look great on my resume, but I have a better understanding of expectations, responsibilities, and everything it takes to get a plane in the air. I feel that I am now a better match for many different job opportunities. When asked if she would consider a career at Dynamic, she stated, "As a piloting student, I would consider eventually flying for Dynamic. Even just by walking around the property, you can tell the huge amount of joy the whole company puts into its work and how they genuinely want to be here. Earlier this week our Engagement team had a fantastic time participating in McGaheysville Elementary School's STEM Day! Kara and Danielle represented Dynamic Aviation and brought the wonder of flight to life for students through Aviation Jeopardy and a hands-on balsa wood airplane activity. The students explored the principles of aerodynamics, learned how aircraft stay in the sky, and put their creativity to the test by building and flying their very own planes!
