I worked at Dynamic Aviation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great place for unqualified persons to gain experience

    Cons

Management does not want to improve the employee experience, they do not care if you move on, any extra duty is not compensated, "you can put it on your resume", they will work you till you drop

    Advice to Management

It is not a privilege to work here, treat your employees better.

    Pros

Good pay with really great scorecard program for additional compensation.
    Very interesting business
Company saves lives with the services they provide

    Cons

Very odd management style. Used to be a small company, now a large company. The owners want it both ways, they want a large company but they want to control everything. They don't want to empower anyone to make decisions. Very frustrating place to work. Very difficult to feel like you are contributing to the company.

    Advice to Management

The company has a reputation as an awful place to work. Not sure how you will maintain a qualified work force if you continue to manage like you do.

Coworkers and that is all for this illegal business

    Cons

Terrible pay , Dishonest work against our government and totally illegal

I have been working at Dynamic Aviation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Wide variety of atypical aviation work, lots of opportunity to try different projects and move around. Pay is fair once you upgrade to captain. A lot of good people to work with. Once you have good time you're in fairly high demand. If you're one to stay on longer it's even better as many move on quickly. Maintenance has improved over the years and is above average (although correspondingly slower).

    Cons

There's the standard array of office politics at the Bridgewater base, it takes a bit to learn the ropes and how to avoid the politics. If you're low-time it can take a while to upgrade and/or require a lot of time on the road. Most of the projects require relocation either temporarily or semi permanently, there's a lot of flux and schedules are hard to nail down. Usually not a good company for married with kids (but what aviation company is?). You'll either need to push papers for lower pay or be gone a lot for medium pay. This started as a small family business and exploded, but there's still a lot of micro-managing going on.

    Advice to Management

I know it's hard to balance all aspects of business and the employees rarely understand what's best for the business, but at the same time a Lot of your employees feel used and undervalued by upper management. Kudos for the efforts over the recent years, you're moving in the right direction. At some point you'll have to raise wages...the resulting turnover is really killing your experience base.

I have been working at Dynamic Aviation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Experience that you cannot get anywhere else. You get to break all the FARs you ever wanted to legally... You get to hear the coast guard helicopters try to bust you with ATC for low level over the metro area. Night vision goggles are a plus.

    Cons

25.5k a year as an FO to fly with 200 gallons of economic poison three feet from you at 100-300 feet off the ground. Upgrade takes about a year. Amounted about 500 hours a year of flight time with about 50 hr of it counting toward FAA spray PIC over congested areas. The amount of money for the risk doesnt really make sense at the end of the day. On call every day. Middle management doesn't know what their managers do to control costs, IE cut benefits for Pilots. Maintenance is also sometimes sketchy, but most of the time is good.

    Advice to Management

Look at what is going on in the Aviation industry as far as pilot job pay, benefits etc. Pilots are starting to become more valuable.

I have been working at Dynamic Aviation full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The work is interesting and varied. There is a steady stream of new customers and technologies coming through the door. There are opportunities to work in a variety of different fields.

    Cons

Project planning is still in the early stages of growth. It feels like we're always too busy to take the time to develop a good system. The company culture and hierarchy isn't always the same as the "official company" version.

I worked at Dynamic Aviation full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Beautiful area in which to live and work.
Interesting work with a high technology component.

    Cons

Company appears to bank of the desirability of its location and that perspective employees will accept less to work there.
Salaries are lower and benefits are significantly less than the rest of the industry:
    - only 6 paid holidays,
    - Vacation limited to 2 weeks (after 2 years of service) until 8 years of service. Then adds 1 day per year thereafter
    - 25% 401(k) match,
    - 1 day bereavement leave for father-in-law or mother-in-law.
