"Gratitude Brew with the Leadership Crew" On this Employee Appreciation Day, we’re grateful for our team members, who show up every day for patients, our customers, and one another. To recognize and reward our talented and mission-driven workforce, we had a lineup of fun activities including: 🤸🏻♀️ A restorative yoga session to help people feel refreshed and energized. ☕A virtual coffee with senior leaders, who highlighted recent team accomplishments. 👩🏻💻An ergonomics session on setting up our remote workspaces for comfort and productivity 💗 A discussion on cultivating a gratitude mindset to appreciate the positive in our lives in and out of work. Employees also recognized and appreciated each other on our internal social media platform. Our people are what make Evolent special, and we appreciate them today and throughout the year.
It’s been nearly five years since remote work became the norm for millions of U.S. workers, almost overnight. But at Evolent, “home” was the most common workplace long before that – and we’re not going back, even as some employers drive a return to office. If you’re seeking a work environment that wants you to live your best life so you can do your best work, check out opportunities with us!

We recently released our 5th annual Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) report and are proud to share the results of these important efforts. DE&I is embedded in everything we do at Evolent because it connects us to our mission, fuels our success and fortifies our bonds with each other and those we serve.
As part of our efforts to support mental health in the communities we serve, Evolent has coordinated efforts with Chicago-area faith leaders to destigmatize mental illness and help individuals find the resources they need. But who supports the faith leaders? In our recent “Caring for the Shepherd” event, experts presented practices and resources to support mental wellness for these leaders, who are often first responders for members of their congregations. Thank you to our speakers and collaborator, Sage Health.
To honor the work and message of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a team of Chicago-area Evolenteers and their families spent part of Monday supporting our community partner, Cradles to Crayons Chicago. The volunteers helped sort donations at The Giving Factory, where Cradles to Crayons packages and distributes seasonally appropriate clothing to local children living in homeless or low-income situations. The youngest volunteers even helped with creating fun cards that could be included in the packages. These efforts are part of our giving initiatives that support medical, social, behavioral and financial improvements in the communities where we live and work.
Evolenteers joined together for a service project to support our Chicago community partner, Cradles to Crayons. Our teams were able to support by dropping off in person donations, virtually donating items through our Amazon Wishlist, or helping us package and sort donations. We had brunch, giveaways, and service all wrapped in one day! Our community partner even joined us for the fun. The donations allowed us to package 104 holiday hygiene kits - half of the kits contained essentials for newborns which will go to Mount Sanai hospital to be sent home with every newborn that is delivered starting next week & the others will go to school-aged children in need. We also collected other various supplies that will be sent home with families!
